What a full day! I had a lot of activities going on in the classroom today and I am running on less sleep than usual. I am trying to get too many things done at once, I think. I promised myself that tonight I will go to bed at a normal hour though and I plan to keep that promise. I have been busy making sure all of our tax stuff is in order for our appt., lia sophia work is cropping up again, I am researching new hairstyles as I am tired of my hair and want a fun change, blah, blah, blah.
Tomorrow I am having Beth and her boys over for dinner, so tonight I am cleaning and getting some laundry done.
I did mention to Auntie Laurie that we'll be in DC (& gave her the dates), but have yet to hear back from her. We'll see.
I heard from John Wanat this week. He is heading over to Iraq this week for 6 months. He has been in Tampa for 18 months and loved it.
Well, those are my fading thoughts for the evening. I will probably not use this again until you leave but wanted to test it out. LOVE YOU.

After Dinner...
We just finished dinner. Aahhh....the day is coming to a close pretty quickly. Aiden did not get his actual brown belt tonight. The Master forgot that they needed to bring the brown belts. He was kinda disappointed, but took it in stride. They'll do the ceremony on Wednesday instead.
I really need to do lesson plans, but I am not motivated whatsoever. Well, enough for now. Aiden is about to hop into the shower. I am going to have him read to me before bed. He is getting sooo good at reading! Miss and love you already.

My first entry...
Okay...here goes nothin'! I am not sure I can keep up with a blog of my own, but it is one more way to try to help us all feel connected. Today was another busy day. Not only did I entertain and educate nineteen kindergartners, but I also got a new dryer installed, sent a package (yes, the one you gave me yesterday), explained Aiden's homework, checked his homework and now I am about to walk out the door to Taekwondo to watch Aiden receive his brown belt! After which I will feed the two of us, get him ready for bed and then prepare literature and science lessons for the rest of the week! WHEW!
As for tomorrow.... My students have been working towards earning a Pajama Day and today they fulfilled all of the requirements so tomorrow we are all wearing our PJs to school! They couldn't be more excited. It is also Heather's b-day so I am taking her out to eat since Mike is in Osan for the week and I am making a cake for her kids to decorate and present to her after dinner.
Well, good enough for now. I love you and hope this will be a tool we all come to love and use often!
