Here are a couple shots from tonight's concert. I was videotaping (actually with BOTH my iTouch and the DVD video camera at the same time) while he spoke and sang the songs, so I do not have any photos of that. I plan to send you the small DVD disc (if you think it'll work on your laptop!?) of the concert. And then just in case it gets lost in the mail I used my Touch so you could always see it when you come home. Since I was doing two at the same time (with a tall man in front of me--that is another story!) I do not think it's the best taping, BUT you will get the picture! Afterwards one of the class moms came up and told me she thought it was funny seeing me with a camera, a phone and a video recorder all dangling from my arms! :) We love you!!!
Today was the end of the year party for the Sentinels. The coach said Aiden was a hard worker, a great listener and that he has really seen Aiden grow over the course of this season. Coach also came over to me at the conclusion and told me again how much he liked Aiden, and how he was a terrific kid! I was also awarded a certificate and a CYS Volunteer coin for being the Team Mom, which was thoughtful of him. One more game and then winter soccer begins!

Here is Aiden drilling the hole to get the weights inside the block of wood. Buzz was an amazing help; I hope everyone else appreciated him as much as Aiden and me. The other photos below are of the whole process. He sanded the axels and wheels, put graphite on the axels, pounded in the wheels and even sawed off some of the weighs so when he weighed the car it wouldn't be too heavy! Our hands got a bit grungy, so he'll have to put a light coat of paint on the top again and then he will add the words and buttons! When he is finished we'll post it on here. FUN DAY!
